In Mavericks v.10.9 or later, your Contacts, Calendars, and other info are updated on your computers and iOS devices via iCloud. Only Contacts in iCloud will sync. Contacts which are local to your computer do NOT sync. * Only Calendars and Contacts in iCloud groups will sync.
