Hi Chris, AVG AntiVirus for Mac® is compatible with OSX Mountain Lion or later. You can't install it on your Snow Leopard MBP!

Only the newly released Yosemite OS X 10.10 install is available from the App Store I have a OS X 10.9 "Install OS X Mavericks.app" - 5.31GB file size.
