Ronni, update on noisy fans in G5 tower.
I had reset PRAM and PMU and with a compressor blew out any dust inside. The fans start up loud and die down as the OS appears on the screen, then get loud again without opening any applications. The air coming out the back of the tower is barely warm. It is a quad G5 and nice and fast. If I can find someone who is need of a good fast machine I think they will put up with a bit of noise……it aint that bad.
