Hi Severin,
Goodness me …. yet another option I too cannot locate.
I tend to remove the SD card from camera and plug into the back of my iMac.
Just easier than messing with cables.

I am even more amazed by the omission of “Batch Change” from Photos.
It was in the File pull down menu in iPhoto.
Strangely in Photos Help you are told to go to Photos menu but it does NOT 
exist there.
So even Photos Help is incorrect !
