Good morning all Just a quick question about Apple TV Remote, that’s the old Apple TV, not the new version. Does the Remote have a finite life? Mine seems to have died after several years of use. Of course I have replaced the battery from time to time but now it no longer works. Nor do I know if it is possible to access my AppleTV without the Remote. It seems a new Remote is required but thought it worth contacting the WAMUG gurus first.
I’m not having a good run just now. I got caught up in the Ice TV Skippa PVR disaster. IceTV went into Voluntary Liquidation a mere few days after my Skippa arrived. That was after waiting four months for delivery. I have now had my purchase price totally refunded by PayPal and in time will look for something else as a replacement. I wonder if anyone else on this List has had a similar experience with IceTV’s Skippa which, with Ad skipping, had the potential to be something rather special.
