Thanks again for your patience. I must admit I've run out of it now.
I tried to follow your latest advice wrt to Entrecheck.
I did update the apps where I could find updates. As for the plugins and
extensions, going to "support " lead me into a maze. So I went into SAFARI and
turned them off where ever I found them. NC is turned off.
All MAIL on the iMac is disconnected via preferences, so I'm writing this on my
iPad.
Restart and the problem persists
Simply put NC is corrupt and erratically opening MAIL banners after several
minutes. If I place the cursor anywhere near the RHS of the screen, the
beachball starts spinning and screen freezes for 30 seconds.
If I had to guess what might be behind the corruption, I wonder if it's because
I I removed an old version of MS Office, having decided to stick with Apple
apps and LibreOffice.
I mustn't spend anymore time dissembling it Ronni. I'd like to delete the
system and reinstall.
Can you point me in the right direction to do this please.
