Got it when I got the new iMac .
Very interesting !

However I have had the “sleep” issue for a long time with ejecting external 
hard drives.
Just realised that I did not turn “automatic sleep” off on the new iMac.
I have done that now so will see how I go.

However I will that forum link just in case.
