Hi Diana,

When you setup iCloud I would have expected you would have selected ‘Find My 
Mac’.
We always recommend everyone select ‘Find My Mac’.
And would have enabled ‘Find my iPhone’ on your iDevices (iPad & iPhone)

To check if you do have Find My Phone:  
1. Go to System Preferences > iCloud and you will see what is selected there.
Scroll to the bottom of the list to ‘Find My Mac’

2. On your iPad: Check to see if you have the ‘Find iPhone’ app

If you have Find My iPhone enabled on your missing device.
“You can use Find My iPhone to Find your device and take additional actions 
that can help you recover it and keep your information safe”
