Further to this, I might add that I am on High Sierra 10.13.4 (MBP Retina 2013) and those that have experienced it previously indicated it was with the recent update/s and for those people it was not an issue previous to recent updates.
Perhaps the sequence of updates for me along with other extraneous things has lead to this and being limited to those others duplicating that scenario.
