Can anyone explain the meaning of two strange iMac (High Sierra 10.13.6)
messages recently received relating to an iPad 5?

1. Before installing iOS12 I made an iTunes backup on the iMac. (I do not use
iCloud for backup.) iTunes gave message “Some of the purchased items on the
iPad including ‘Power’, could not be transferred because you are not authorised
for them on this computer. Would you like to authorise this computer for items
purchased from the iTunes Store?"

I reluctantly agreed to authorise so I could proceed with the backup. But what
is “Power”? I have not purchased any app, movie or song with that title or
association.

2. Several days after installing iOS12 I plugged the iPad into the iMac and got
a (system) message “A software update is required to connect to Alan’s iPad 5.”
I did not download and install it. What would the software update be? I fear
it may be macos Mojave which I don’t want. I also fear it may have some
association with the purchased ‘Power’ item now sitting in the iTunes backup
file I can’t access!

Cheers, on this damp and grey morning,
Alan
