Hello, WAMUGers,

On Monday, my husband carelessly left his backpack in the Kelmscott train
station. We dashed back as soon as we discovered that, about 25 minutes later.
The backpack was there, but the iPhone SE was not.

The station guards and the associated police were very helpful. A guard
remotely locked the phone, and Apple sent us updates on the location of the
phone for several days. Today we finally were able to search for it, in a large
overgrown yard -- and found it.

Now I need to find out how to unlock it. I have the unlock code that the guard
gave me, but I don't know what to do with it. How does one access 'Click All
Devices' and 'Lost Mode'?

The phone does not have a sim card in it at the moment: we were getting ready
to switch providers. I hope someone can point me to the appropriate actions to
take. I have tried searching Safari, but there are multiple different
interpretations of 'unlocking an iPhone.'

Pat,
hopeful
