Hi Stephen
I have an iPhone 6 SE and I get the bell with a line through it and a note
saying Silent Mode On when I turn it on, and when turning off get the bell
without the line and a note saying Silent Mode Off. It’s not huge but I can see
it, but it only stays on for a second or so.
Kind regard
Peter
