Hi folks. Today I had an interesting conversation with a guy from Macs4U in Midland.
He tells me that Catalina is optimised to run with a SSD (Solid State Drive). The consequence of this is that it runs super slow with a HDD (Hard Disk Drive). Apparently Apple is receiving thousands of complaints about this. So it is possible that this issue may be addressed in a future MacOS update. Regards, Stephen Chape
