Ah yes, I got muddled...I thought it was the latest of course it isn't
   but it looks like this computer doesn't update to Ventura.
   My "newer" computer is ....stuffed. it's so full it won't delete
   things, so I can't run anything from the external drive. I do have
   backups.
   Fortunately I managed to Repair the libraries and they now open....but
   if/when I get a new computer they'll be incompatible again...oh well.
   Anybody got any ideas for photo management software that doesn't take 4
   years to open?
