Dear friends......
Indonesia Relief is a collaborative effort between the Indonesian
Embassy in Washington DC, and Indonesian communities in USA.
In the wake of earthquake that happened in Yogyakarta, Indonesia,
The Indonesian Community in Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia
area launched a collaborative relief effort to help the people in
Yogyakarta.
And hopefully, more other Indonesian organizations in USA will join
these effort.
The relief effort was initiated by different groups in DC area
communities, and officially endorsed by the Indonesian Embassy by
electing Mr. Harris Iskandar, the current Education and Cultural
Attache, as the coordinator for this relief effort. Other groups
that are participating are IMAAM, IKI, Kuli-Dollar, SIA, Palapa,
IMSA. If you are interested in participating, please contact us.
Dedicated to anybody who loves Indonesia, and have seen that there
are many catastrophic disaster happens to Indonesia all the time,
and there is always a need to help people in many ways, in different
parts of beautiful Indonesia.
