Sure, there are meetings and conventions at which current and former 
government officials and leaders in industry gather to discuss world 
events, eat too much good food, impress each other, drink some good 
Scotch and have their kind of fun. There's nothing particularly sinister 
about it. They can't make laws or set policy. They are merely people who 
like to talk to each other rather as we are doing.
