I got past this error, but not all of the tests appear to be working yet. After getting the latest code from git, I copied the watir \commonwatir\unittests\setup folder to Ruby\lib\ruby\gems\1.8\gems \watir-1.6.2\unittests. However, core_tests.rb won't run any tests, but window_test.rb will run fine.
