Y’know, if’n you want to work with Gmail, there’s an app for that…or, more 
accurately, there’s a gem for that.

Sometimes it’s better to work below the UI when it comes to email.

You could probably automate Gmail and Docs, but the last time I have played 
with Gmail, it was not trivial. Also, it changes with time. We had a sample 
script how to automate Gmail on the wiki, but I think it is removed because it 
was broken most of the time due to Gmail changes.
