Hi, After investigation on the www.cleartrip.com page: to click the calendar:
ie.image(:alt, "Calendar").click and to click on exact day : ie.link(:text, "12").click (try to user firebug under firefox to find the element you would like to work with or iedeveloper tool bar) Worked for me.
