Can they be shared?
Yes. We can make these AMIs public for anyone to use. Basically the license price is included in the hourly rental price that is why Windows VMs are more expensive than Linux VMs ($0.12/hour vs $0.085/hour for a small instance). However for Watir purposes we should be able to use the new micro instances ($0.02/hour for Linux and $0.03/hour for Windows).

I will keep you posted with my progress on this front.
