As several of us have already said, WATIR DOES NOT CARE IF YOUR APP IS
WRITTEN IN PHP OR THC! (Or anything else, as far as it creates HTML pages.)

So, if you could not locate the element, it is probably your fault, not
Watir's.

If you would like to emulate HTTP traffic, then that is not a question for
this group (although you could get an answer here, if you are lucky).
