A good point Eric, Perhaps this could be done fairly easily by cranking down the default timeout to the max allowed time, before using waiting methods where there is a 'refresh speed' criteria, then increasing it for instances where you expect and allow for something to take longer. -- Before posting, please read http://watir.com/support.
