Would it be possible to have a sliding window of search results, along with an 
indicator of how far down the total results the user is in?
I.e. when the user starts scrolling down, prefetch the next N search results, 
and remove the last N search results. The idea being that, if the user scrolls 
at a normal speed, he won't ever see the start or the end of the search results 
list (unless he's actually at the start or end of all possible waves in the 
server).
