Hi Anton, The state of affairs with IE hasn't been looked at closely in recent times, so there might be some regressions. In any case, bold with Ctrl+B seems to be working. So the problem with the toolbar button is probably to do with the focus/selection being lost from the editor before the selection range for applying bold is read.
I could be wrong though as I only played with it for a minute or so. But that might give you an idea.
