IBM, Atos, et al. A lot of big companies are rejecting email for good and
bad reasons alike. They wanted their employees to invest less time in email
and to collaborate better and they are using different solutions for that.
I wonder if the best solution for bad use of email is killing the email...
Anyways, they are using propietary, local solutions. If such solution has
been creating by an external vendor, they are changing email as a standard
tool by a magnificent lock-in. As the problem is real, wave has two
different advantages:
1) it is open, so there shouldn't be any lock-in
2) it is intended for substitute email as IBM and atos are doing, with a
lot of nice functionalities for enhancing discussions.
My question is: WIAB is enough mature and stable for offering corporations
and companies a viable alternative or complement to email in group
collaboration?
thanks in advance for answering
Juan
