After days without sleep I'm IN. :-)

Just wanted to let everybody on the list know that it works: I'm
federating in both directions between a local FedOne wave server and
@wavesandbox.com. It even supports live typing, so while I'm typing in
the GWT based @wavesandbox.com client, I'm seeing it character by
character in the console client.

I call it a night (based in Germany) but keep my server running.

You can add me as [email protected] if you want to try federation.
Though I'll not be around you should see successful connections in
your logs.

If you want to test the console client with your @wavesandbox.com
account, feel free to use

ssh [email protected]
Password: wavepower

to try. Just do

/new
/open <number of your newly created wave>
/add <your name>@wavesandbox.com

and type along.

I'm not sure what happens of multiple users log in as public at the
same time. In case you're conflicting with somebody else, you can use
public2, public3, public4 or public5 all with wavepower as the
password to play with the client.

Let me know how it goes.

Quick info:
- Using a virtual server at Rackspace.
- Using XMPP Class 1 Certificates issued by StartSSL.
- CN used for certificates is: wave.wave24z.com
- Domain and hostname in run-config.sh are wave24z.com
- Using Openfire as XMPP server.
- Did not (!) add the certificate to Openfire
- Imported the StartSSL sub.class1.server.ca.pem into Java keystore
and having it as 2nd cert in run-config.sh.
