There are two certificates. The one that the XMPP server uses when talking
with other XMPP servers, and the one that the WiaB server uses to sign
individual deltas. The one that Openfire generates during installation
is sufficient. You still need to get a CA signed certificate for your WiaB
server. The steps found
here<https://sites.google.com/a/waveprotocol.org/wave-protocol/federation/certificates>for
generating a CA signed cert should help. Using StartSSL is fairly
easy,
it does require that you have access to webmaster@<domain> (or postmaster or
a couple of others). If you don;t have MX services setup for your domain,
you can use the free Google
Apps<http://www.google.com/apps/intl/en/group/index.html>to host mail
services for your domain.
