Looks like the version field doesn't populate correctly, but tbh I never
noticed because I usually look in the comments for the version :)

The main question is *why* do you get these middle clicks. Accidentally tapping
with three fingers should not be an issue. So this is either a hardware/kernel
issue or a libinput finger detection issue.
Please *attach* an evemu-record of a sequence that triggers a spurious tap.
