You can check the available versions with

$ apt-cache policy libxcb-glx0

Ubuntu 12.04 has an older version of the library. However, on Ubuntu
12.10, it is

$ apt-cache policy libxcb-glx0
libxcb-glx0:
  Installed: 1.8.1-1ubuntu1
  Candidate: 1.8.1-1ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 1.8.1-1ubuntu1 0
        500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ quantal/main amd64 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
$ _

which means that if you upgrade to 12.10, you will get the latest
version of the library.
Otherwise, you would need to install it manually.
