Is anyone looking into this issue already? I'm still using X but the things I use most (QtCreator and a Web browser) already work on Wayland natively. Snowshoe is nice but Qupzilla seems much more complete and that's what I would like to use. Unfortunately I can't build it, seems that qtwebkit puts some undesired libraries into its pkg-config files and the linker refuses to continue during Qupzilla build. Other important applications are VMware and VirtualBox, those are applications that need XWayland but I will try and see if I hit this bug. > The only person I know of using weston as his primary UI is min2, who said > he's not using a graphical browser at all, due to this segfault bug. > > > If anybody is using wayland as their primary UI, I'd like to hear about it. As soon as I have a browser built I will use Weston + Hawaii most of the time. I'll let you know when that happens. _______________________________________________ wayland-devel mailing list wayland-devel@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/wayland-devel
