g2d-renderer comes from the NXP fork of Weston, customised to work on their downstream kernels with their libraries. It's presumably looking for some kind of G2D device node which it can't see for some reason. If you're using an upstream kernel then vanilla Weston 9.0.0 (with no NXP patches) works great there on i.MX devices. If you're using a downstream kernel/GLES/Weston/etc from NXP, then I'm afraid you need to contact them for support. Cheers, Daniel
