I can't answer the first Question but I can answer the 2nd one. Frances was
asked to be in the movie but declined because she was Aunt Bee for 11 years
and she was tired of being remembered only for her role as Aunt Bee. I saw
an interview with Frances were she gave this answer. Thanks for all the good
