An open letter to the mayoral candidates:
As someone who can trace a little bit of Cherokee lineage (just a little on
my Mama's side), I am concerned about the plight of the buffalo. Please
consider "Save the Buffalo" as a major plank in your political platform. It
is an issue which should be of concern to everyone. Also, in reference to
the scandal involving the new highway being built, I say, if it is the will
of the people that a highway be built, then a highway shall be built!
Finally, Mr. Stoner, please remove the large sign reading "Tippacanoe and
Stoner too" from my front yard. I did not authorize you to place it there.
