After what Paul said about sissors in Mr. Schwump's pocket, I looked at the
picture again. I think it might just be either prescription or reading
glasses. Being that Mr. Schwump likes socializing with the ladies of Mayberry,
he'd probably remove his eyewear when dancing so they can see his sincere
expression.
I think when Barney was looking over deputy candidates, Andy refered to Jud
as "Ol Jud". The only woman I remember being referred to in that way when when
the boys were upset about the History homework "Old Lady" Crump gave them.
