on today's episode of The Lucy Show I saw Hal Smith. Mr. Mooney wanted to build a freeway down the middle of Main Street Bancroft, CA. He & Lucy went down to check it out and were surprised to find the head of the planning committee (Hal Smith, Otis Campbell) marching in the parade that was protesting the freeway. He's the only one to play the tuba and "you can't have a marching band without a tuba."
