-----There is an episode, I believe when Bob Rogers comes down from the State AG's Office and Barney is put out about it.....eventually leaves the force to sell vacuums....and he's over at Thelma Lou's and she's cleaning house.....wearing pants. This is also the episode in which Barney utters the famous line...Who's Been Messin' Up The Bulletin Board...!--- By the way.....What exactly does Thelma Lou do for a living? I've heard her say "she had to get back to the office". Any other known clues? How Barney could have left Mayberry without hitchin' up with that girl is beyond me! What a sweetheart!
