I have wondered this for many years, and I hope someone in this forum could tell me. Did Don Knotts ever live in Rock Island, Illinois?? I remember hearing on the radio years ago (early 1990's sometime) that he had, and a guy who called in to the local radio talk show at that time, said he had lived next door to Don. But I've never heard any more about it, or what period of his (Don's) life this might be true. Does anyone have any insight into this?? Totally false, totally true? Thanks.
