Yesterday I was watching a very old movie, 1938, called Of Human Hearts, starring James Stewart as an ungrateful son who went to medical school, then into the civil war. Every time he needed something he asked his mother to sell something of value so he could have the money. After going into the war as a surgeon, he went 3 years without writing home, so he was called in by the President, Mr. Lincoln, and was made to sit at the president's desk and write his mother a letter! Before he left, he went into the local store now and then...and the storekeeper's son was played by a TAGS alum..Sterling Holloway "Bert Miller." Took a long time to get to it, but that is the line!!
