Up here in the North, Ramps are called "Wild Leeks". And as in the South they are popular. Every Spring we have "Ham & Leek" dinners put on by local Churches, Volunteer Fire Departments and other non-profit organizations. I'm sure anyone who has eaten Ramps or Wild Leeks will agree..."they stay on your breath for a few days".
