In the episode where Barney is trying to catch the shoplifter he is dressed like a hunter wearing a hat with ear flaps. Each of my brothers wore hats like that when they were kids. It gets reallllll cold where we live but why would anyone in Mayberry need a hat like that? How cold does it get in that area? ----Shy Mary Grace
