In the old movie Kansas Raiders last night, starring Audie Murphy, there was a Mayberry connection! This was a Jesse James movie with Audie as Jesse, and one of his sidekicks was none other than James Best. The movie was from 1950 so James must have been... let's see now...barely in his 20s I would say. Still was a good actor way back then, but the voice has never changed one bit!
