The Mayberry library is mentioned a handful of times, but we don't ever see it. In "Andy Forecloses," Andy heads to the "lie-bary" to get a book on real estate law, and in "The Pageant" Mrs. Armbruster (exact spelling unknown) from the library was briefly considered for the role of Miss Mayberry, but rejected because "she's a little bitty woman." Seems to me there's a color episode in which one of the ladies (Clara, I think) mentions a book she got from "the lending library."
