Yes...I believe Barney loved "Ol Thel above all others. In fact, he never
loved anyone else. The reason I believe Barney didn't marry Thelma Lou was not
only a fear of commitment but also his need to be a big shot. You know, like
he wanted to be a big fish in a big pond and that overrode his emotions at
the time. And that's my two cents....
