We're never told what the P stands for, but I like to think it was Paul.

In 1993 when my wife gave birth to twin boys, I wanted to name them Andrew
Jackson Mulik and Bernard Paul Mulik, but she disagreed.  She did agree to
"Taylor" as a first name for one of them, though.  My brother has a son
named Bernard -- they call him Bernie, but I bet you can all guess what _I_
call him.
