I have to share this information. I was at the Outer Banks this past weekend staying with friends. My friends told me that after we left on Sunday, their neighbor came home with a yellow lab puppy - seven weeks old. She said that it was given to Andy Griffith for Christmas by his family. But after a week, due to his failing health, he said that he just could not handle a new puppy, so they gave it to her. She works in Manteo.
