Mayberry Friends,
I *hate* to bring anything negative to our little corner of Mayberry but
I need to address something and "nip it in the bud."
A member of the WBMUTBB Chapter has been contacting *several* of our
fellow chapter members concerning the fact that I will not allow his
posts to go through to the WBMUTBB Digest. For the past 3 months or so
this has been true and continues to be true. Said member has in the
past posted some *very* hateful things here on the Digest and even more
hateful things in e-mails sent directly to members.
The member has been contacted and refuses to apologize for the behavior
demonstrated. Some chapter members have voiced support for the
individual but I truly believe that is because they haven't seen what I
have seen. If you are a person who feels I have done wrong in my
decisions toward the member in question, please contact me directly. I
normally do not want to do things so they appear secret and behind
closed doors but I am *trying* to be sensitive to everyone...including
the member in question.....and not putting the unfortunate situation out
for all to see.
I do my very best to keep the WBMUTBB Digest a fun and joyful place to
visit each day and I'm sorry to have felt the need to bring this small
bit of the real world and it's problems into our little corner of
Mayberry.
I want everyone to know that I will always do what I feel is right in
order to keep the Mayberry spirit alive and well. We have a special
place here in this Digest of Mayberry friends. I may make mistakes and
but hopefully you will forgive me when I do just like we all forgive
Barney for the mistakes he makes because like Barney my heart, I
believe, is in the right place even when/if I mess things up.
