In addition to the scene of Ben Weaver standing on the crate outside the jail singing " Away in a Manger", on the first episode where Aunt Bea is leaving and Opie goes running out to the truck and cries and says he doesn't want Aunt Bea to leave. Opie asks Andy what will she do? She doesn't know how to do anything, can't fish or play ball etc. Those are the 2 scenes that can always make me puddle up and cry.
