That actually is another blooper. In "Divorce, Mountain Style", Andy asks Barney to ride the white horse "east to west, east to west". When Barney rides the white horse east to west, he passes Andy's house on his left. That means Andy's house faces north! But this contradicts "Man in a Hurry" since at the end of the episode everyone is sitting on the Taylor porch all tired in the late afternoon. Notice the sun is blaring down on them at a setting angle. Since the sun sets in the west, that would indicate the Taylor home faces west.
If you look at a picture of the 40 acres lot, both the courthouse and Andy's home face approximately the same direction -- south! As Andy would say, "curious, curious".
