The link below is to a local news story about Andy and Cindy Griffith's "affirmation of faith" that they made to the Grace Moravian Church in Mt. Airy, NC, where he went to church beginning in 1942.

It also spoke of "Membership in Grace Moravian Church could lead to Griffith's future interment in God's Acre, the church cemetery bordering North Main Street where graves are marked with simple flat stones in keeping with Moravian tradition."
