If there was ever a person who could offer advice for our economic hardships today, it would be Barn. Can you think of all the cost cutting measures that Barn employed to "watch his pennies pretty close"?
Here's some I thought of: 1. Not having the salad AND the shrimp cocktail at Morelli's. 2. Having the special at the diner. 3. Bringing his own lunch to work - or better yet eating free when Aunt Bee brings in lunch. 4. NOT taking the fun girls to a floor show.
